Maybe even a job opportunity right in the Cape May area. It is altogether beautiful there and a real treat when I get to go. Are you more that a couple of driving hours away? 2010-01-21 20:40: Brian@69.253.21.180 : Irene it's not a place a visit, it's a place I need to be all the time, I grew up here. I have a trailer here in a trailer park called the Depot Travel Park, and ever since I was four years old I've been coming here. We would stay basically all summer long, but because of the economy, all my friends and including myself aren't able to come down as we used to. Maybe 8 times a summer.. that's not even close to how much we used to. :( 2010-01-13 14:33: Irene@69.141.238.247 : Happy New Year Ross_in_California! Good hearing from you! I'm about an hour and some minutes from here and it's cold!!! 2010-01-08 13:55: Eric Fussel@97.78.119.163 : Check out the ICE. This is another 5.0 rating. 2010-01-06 20:40: Ross_in_California@71.140.29.254 : Good golly, whoever aimed the camera this time around sure hit a home run! Happy New Year, the view is fabulous! 2009-12-19 16:47: grayeagle48@71.99.119.34 : Watch the Midwest get walloped by a blizzard on these webcams.
http://www.ourchurch.com/view/?pageID=372087 2009-12-18 13:54: Eric Fussel@97.78.119.163 : This is a great sight. I hope everyone rates it a "5". 2009-12-15 13:00: ambre_@hotmail.com@70.82.30.184 : I need to be there ... my soul is in need of salty air and the view of the ocean .. 2009-11-30 21:58: Irene@69.141.238.247 : Brian your words are very sensitive and poetic, this must be one of your very favorite places to visit. 2009-11-28 01:46: patti@69.253.195.47 : Can't imagine living anywhere else! 2009-11-17 12:54: SW@70.91.49.102 : Who, like me, can't be away from the ocean for too long? 2009-11-15 20:26: Brian@69.253.21.180 : The waves crashing silently, The sunset, the warm brisk air, The deserted part of it which makes me want to fill it in, it is so peaceful and serene. I can't wait to go back this summer and stay at my house. I miss it there so much right now and knowing I can't go back until May is really heartbreaking. I need Cape May to survive because if Cape May didn't exist I have no idea what my life would be like today. 2009-11-15 20:24: Brian@69.253.21.180 : Ahhhh. It's so peaceful looking there today :) 2009-09-30 20:20: Angelique@70.82.30.184 : Ahhh, I'd rather be there by the beach than doing algebra. 2009-08-25 14:19: Reen@24.19.187.32 : Hey Anthony, you forgot to swing by and pick me up on the way! Ah well, maybe next year :-) 2009-08-25 12:11: anthony@76.8.66.5 : My family and I just got back from an awesome week at Cape May. Its a great place to bring the family. We miss it already and are looking forward to next summer. As always the beach was fantastic. 2009-08-21 20:09: Joann - Pennsylvania@24.115.77.5 : Love those waves today. Glad to see cam is up and running. Joann 2009-08-18 12:26: Dlagrua@69.142.96.228 : Its Tues August 18, 2009 and the cam is working well at 8:25 AM. Looks like the makings of a great day for the beach. It's going to be about 90*F. A perfect day to swim, fish or boat on the Jersey Shore. We won't be in Cape May as we leave for Florida tomorrow (talk about heat) but by labor day we should be back at our shore home again. 2009-08-11 19:08: 66coll@24.97.155.242 : Is the web cam down? It hasn't worked for me in two days now. Thanks 2009-07-29 20:03: SU Fan@208.69.104.5 : Ross -- a bit hazy today but not inclement. And unlike CA you can actually swim in the water without a wet suit! 2009-07-27 23:38: Ross_in_California@71.140.29.254 : @SW: I believe this is inclement weather we're looking at. 2009-07-27 18:14: SW@70.91.49.102 : What's up with the cam today? 2009-07-15 18:06: Dlagrua@69.142.90.10 : The Jersey Cape is a special place to enjoy the beach, dine on world class food, sightsee and relax on or by the water. There is no other place quite like it.We should be back to Cape May in a few weeks and hopefully we can take a few days to have fun. Might even take the car on the Ferry to Lewes and ride down to Ocean City MD. for the day. 2009-07-06 14:41: Seaner Bambeaster@69.253.21.180 : THE WAVES WERE AWESOME WHEN I WENT THERE WITH MY BESTFRIENDS BRIN MACKENZ AND MATTOS WHO HAVE A HOUSE THERE :D 2009-07-06 05:15: leo@218.27.184.146 : very good! 2009-06-22 03:43: Brian@69.253.21.180 : I'm going to my house there this coming weekend (: I'll let everyone know when I'm here. 2009-06-20 15:10: KenD@71.175.84.137 : I love Cape May...wish I was there right now.
Please keep this going, what a great view! 2009-06-07 22:41: dlagrua@69.142.90.10 : If only the weather would clear for a week we can spend some time at our shore home in Cape May. ALo looking forward to a special gourmet dinner at LaVeranda at Hotel Alcott. Not inexpensive but some of the finest food in Cape May.
2009-06-06 18:25: Brian@68.81.110.48 : I'm here right now (: 2009-05-27 22:20: Katie Baby@98.240.118.139 : I agree with unknown, rent it out for the summer months or just weekends, make them pay a big deposit to cover damage cost if there is any. Might want to get a lawyer to right up a rental agreement. Good Luck! ☺ 2009-05-27 22:13: unknown@86.3.208.124 : Dont sell it Brian rent it out 2009-05-27 21:27: Brian@69.253.21.180 : I have a beachhouse there, and I have so many friends down there, and I have had the house for 9 years, and because of the economy, I may have to sell it :'( NO:( :( :( :(:(:(:(!!! 2009-05-24 22:17: mo@75.198.219.132 : man wish i was having breakfast there right now 2009-04-20 10:48: Brian@69.253.21.180 : Very wonderful city :) 2009-04-12 22:01: Bluebottle@86.3.208.124 : Thats a nice cove 2009-04-05 16:22: Quickycwiky@97.76.73.13 : Buzz, you wouldn't know one end of a surf board from another. 2009-04-05 16:20: DLagrua@98.235.94.213 : It won't be long before we head down to our summer home in Cape May again in 2009 for some R & R and we can't wait. Cape May is a special place unlike no other. Interesting, charming, historic, gourmet food, great beach and there is lots to do in the area. The web cam above shows a picture of the beauty that is evident at the Southernmost shore town at the edge of New Jersey. We won't be going to the beach until June but still enjoy the area greatly. 2009-04-04 13:53: Buzzy@97.76.73.13 : Nice wild waves 2009-04-01 15:15: LIZ@92.3.173.26 : beautiful today 2009-03-17 17:13: liz@92.0.130.90 : I agree its beautiful. 2009-03-02 17:07: ERIC FUSSEL@97.76.73.36 : WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SIGHT. THIS WEB CAM NEEDS A 5 RATING TODAY. 2009-02-13 19:46: greame@205.188.116.200 : I live here in Cape May Pt,and its gods country..240 year round residents. 2009-02-02 12:50: Irene@68.80.168.199 : Never say never Ross, one never knows, Do one!☺ 2009-01-28 17:07: Ross_in_California@71.140.29.254 : Pretty and stunning. Out here we don't get snow on our shorelines. ;) 2009-01-27 22:17: Irene@68.80.168.199 : It's cold and nasty and when you're out in it, it feels real good to get back inside! Still... it's pretty don't you think? 2009-01-27 22:12: Irene@68.80.168.199 : Yes Ross, that is snow on the beach. East Coast is experiencing a visit from ol' man winter. ☺ 2009-01-27 20:26: Ross_in_California@71.140.29.254 : Visited back there last October, beautiful. But I have to ask, today (1/27/09), about 3:30pm EST... is that SNOW on the beach?!? 2009-01-26 16:38: sw2surf@70.91.49.102 : Patti: Thanks for having this cam up! Much appreciated. 2009-01-23 23:58: Patti@71.58.126.70 : And in answer to Excalibers question. The Cape May Harbor Cam on our website Stripercam.com does actually sit across the harbor from the Cape May Coast Guard Base but is pointed toward the Inlet and not the base. 2009-01-23 23:55: Patti@71.58.126.70 : Glad you all enjoy the Cameras! I just found this message board while surfing around. We try to keep them on all year but occasionally do run into problems. We do enjoy the cams ourselves, everyday, and miss them just as much as you when they are not on. It was fun reading your comments.
Thanks
Patti 2008-12-22 18:19: Joe@159.14.241.230 : Windy and cold looking. The camera's weaving all over the place. Not a good day for kayaking unless you hunt seal for a living. 2008-11-24 13:36: SW@70.91.49.102 : I doubt there are any webcams pointed at a military installation. I'm not familiar with any specifically pointing at the CG, anyhow. 2008-11-21 20:26: Xcalibir@63.254.255.202 : Can anyone tell me if there are any cams around the GC Training Center? I have a son in BT and was just curious. 2008-11-10 22:31: Inspector Morse@65.19.189.152 : Thank you Patti 2008-11-10 20:25: unknown@72.95.17.176 : Thanks Patti U R da best 2008-11-10 20:15: Eric Fussel@97.76.73.54 : Thank-you Patti. I owe you one at the C-View 2008-11-08 14:48: 66coll@67.242.64.203 : I spoke with Patti at stipercam and they are working to get the webcam back up and running. They are having technical issues. 2008-11-06 17:52: Eric Fussel@97.76.73.54 : I want my web cam back 2008-11-05 17:06: 66coll@24.97.155.242 : I don't know. I haven't been able to see it for days. Thought maybe it was me. Wonder how it can be addressed? 2008-11-04 00:59: unknown@72.95.17.176 : what happened to the web cam? 2008-10-23 19:11: steve@71.254.127.28 : going to be a long winter cant wait till next year to be back sitting on da beach 2008-10-12 12:01: Jerry V@69.116.118.137 : Beautiful View all year round
Need Webcam with a 360 view 2008-10-06 14:23: dlagrua@comcast.net@98.235.102.118 : Going down to Cape May tomorrow 10/7 and will stay until Thurs. The weather should be mild, the Mall is open (but closes early),there are some fall activities going on and some great restaurants are still serving.
Things may be more subdued this time of year but its still nice to go to Cape May. 2008-09-20 17:59: 66coll@67.242.77.244 : I highly recommend Cape May at the holidays. The candlelight inn tours are incredible, the town is beatifully decorated-a real step back in time! I'll be there again this year for the tour, walking the beach and just relaxing! 2008-09-18 23:01: Katie Baby@98.240.118.139 : Watching the sun set, its sooo pretty! :) 2008-09-12 18:25: SW@70.91.49.102 : FYI, it's Smith's Canvas - yes they're still there located at 17499 Nassau Commons Blvd. in Lewes. (302) 645-7492. They're a customer of mine! 2008-09-12 18:23: SW@70.91.49.102 : Not real well. Been there many times, but mainly on business. 2008-09-12 12:43: SW@70.91.49.102 : I'm a frequent visitor to CM. My family owns a house there. Two of my favorite "moments" that express the peace of the place are: walking with my board to the beach in the morning. Shopkeepers, homeowners and innkeepers stop from their morning routines to say "good morning." It's so civilized. Second thing: strolling the streets in the evening is like stepping back to a kinder, slower-moving era. Lovely place. 2008-09-12 12:40: SW@70.91.49.102 : Lewes and nearby Rehoboth are quaint seaside towns like Cape May. Both have unique shopping and restaurants, but the main focus of shopping is the large number of outlet stores there. 2008-09-06 18:53: Dlagrua@comcast.net@98.235.102.118 : I've been all up and down the Jersey Shore and we still consider Cape May as the finest seashore resort town in NJ. We have a Summer home in the area and love going there for a few days at a time. There is no other place with the uniqueness that Cape May has and if you want a change for some fabulous shopping just hop on the ferry to Lewes, DE. 2008-09-06 15:39: pagirl@69.72.81.103 : It looks like Hanna came to visit Cape May! Look at the waves out there! =0 2008-09-02 18:49: anthony@76.8.66.5 : My family and I just got back from an awesome week at Cape May. Its a great place to bring the family. We miss it already and are looking forward to next summer 2008-08-31 13:25: Dlagrua@comcast.net@98.221.47.159 : Nice that you are hsoting a webcam but it would be nice if several cams were spead about, like one at the Washington Street mall or in front of convention center so that potential visitors can see more of Victorian Cape May 2008-08-28 21:51: WillJRoss@216.255.101.115 : There is nothing better than Cape May and this cam perfectly expresses the peace and calm. 2008-08-26 00:00: camp2da@72.70.164.135 : yea I know what you mean 2008-08-24 15:42: pagirl@69.72.80.2 : Just came back from Cape May!
