A number system with the base of N consists only of digits that are less than N. So, Binary consists of only 0 and 1, Octal only of 0 through 7, Decimal obviously of 0-9, and Hexadecimal of 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, A, B, C, D, E and F.
