Trix.... I went to bed at 4am, slept until 9.15 and was in the hairdresser's for 10.45. Did some shopping and then just had a small bowl of cereal. Now I'm building up an appetite!!!  :D

wow...what a treat....and you know the rules....don't eat anything at all today...save the appetite for dinner....lol...(and hidden stretch pants won't hurt either)

And I appreciate how lucky we are. I hear people moan about a bit of rain.... or it's too sunny. They should think themselves lucky... we are so fortunate in the UK.

We get very strong winds on the moors that sometimes reach us but nothing to complain about. I've put a link to The Great Storm but all we had in the midlands was a high wind. It looked quite nasty on tv but we saw nothing locally.

On the 10th of August we had the tail end of Hurricane Bertha but it really was the tail end..... just strong winds and some rain. It's raining right now.

do you get hurricanes or tornados?

I watched a prog last night about bad weather. It showed hurricane Andrew hitting Florida. So scary.
