Hi Dona ......
If you come back this weekend, you will see the Vollyball championship
Some more nice camera views of this area http://www.savannahcams.com/live-views/
This camera is also back online again.
Thanks Rain Shadow. I couldn't resist reading the article "Child predator caught by tiny clue in photo." It's amazing but I can't help but think that predators will now be more careful.
CNN have been showing live images from Tybee and other areas, it looks pretty bad http://www.cnn.com/ Stay safe everyone.
That's some hurricane!
Stormy but still beautiful.
stormy day peace dona
Mira ...... they are in the process of selling the hotel at Torquay that gave inspiration for Fawlty Towers. And yes ..... I will be watching Hinterland. :)
LOL ... all I can think of when I see Torquay, is Fawlty Towers. :D
Are you going to be watching the new season of Hinterland? We got ahead of the game by watching downloads of the Welsh version (with subtitles) ... very good so far ... http://mrspeabodyinvestigates.wordpress.com/2015/12/20/new-welsh-noir-hinterland-series-2-begins-23rd-december-on-bbc-one-wales/
Mira ...... Wolverhampton was about 100 miles from Rhyl ..... the nearest seaside resort. Before motorways .... it seemed to take forever to get there. Next was Blackpool. We did the annual pilgrimage to the lights. Having lived 300 metres from the Med ... I was quite content to swap the French Riviera for The English Riviera. I suppose Kansas people don't know any different. I wouldn't like it. I'm looking forward to hopping on the number 12 bus after Christmas and going along the coast road from Torquay to Brixham. Sigh ............ :D
Mind you MD, even in the Midlands you were only a few of hours drive from the coast .... better than somebody who lives in, say, Kansas. :)
And that's why I moved away from the middlelands! :D
I don't really mind which ocean it is as long as I live near one ... I'd hate to live too far inland ... unless I was near a large lake or river.
This is the first place I saw the Atlantic Ocean and it's beautiful but I am from Northern California and the Pacific Ocean is in my heart. Such sentimental claptrap .
It looks like some kind of market on the beach ... nice. :)
Hi Dona ..... I'd love to be here having a look!!!
Busy on the beach today.
A very misty day at Tybee.
