N Q, the painting is huge. And you have a splish of Swiss in your blood..... wow!  Great, great grandparents, that isn't so long ago. I'm sure I'd want to visit the area they'd lived in, any excuse to visit Switzerland. It's a lovely clean country. And they do scrummy chocolate. :D

MD you probably did say you thought it was Italy, but Italy is what stuck in my mind and I knew I had saved this webcam because I wanted to revisit it at Christmas time again.

I had no idea the Last Supper was painted on a wall, but then that does make sense--it's not like canvas was readily available.

I just found out a couple weeks ago when going through my family genealogy that my great great grandparents were from Switzerland, I had no idea I had some Switz in me :)

N Q, I've no idea where I put that comment but I'm sure it said "I think it was Italy." LOL. Thanks for finding this place ....... it's next door to Italy. I love Italy and Switzerland, both beautiful places. I was 17 the first time I went to Milan, Italy. I was surprised to see that the painting of "The Last Supper" is painted straight on to the wall, not on canvas. Posh graffiti, way before its time!  LOL

MD you mention the other day a place in Italy we were all going to visit Dona at when she won the lottery. I found it but it's not in Italy--LOL

It's still a pretty area but I wonder why they put the green box in the middle of it.

I LOVE this view. But then, I love Switzerland.

Hi Dona. The cam does that weird messing up every night that I've looked. I forgot to get a lottery ticket last night but should I ever win, I'll see you here, my treat!
