Homely, our first house in France was south facing so we had a bit too much sun. Our first apartment had balconies on the east and west so we could have breakfast in the sun, then some shade and then our evening meal on the west balcony in the sun. It's so nice to have the sun in late afternoon and evening, winds you down a treat. That new place of yours sounds lovely. So does the desk! LOL!

Where did you say you moved to again, Homely?

I envy you, MD, if you are that far along. It warms up here for a day or two, then dives back down into the forties. The leaves are just barely coming out, and the daffodils are still in bloom. Tulips just came out at the end of last week. Latest I've ever seen any of that happen!
I'm squatting at the new house right now while floors are being redone - the only piece of furniture in it is a big executive desk left behind by the prior owner with our consent. I was working furiously until just a moment ago. If it would just warm up (and if I had some outdoor furniture) I could get used to working out on the deck when the weather warms up! We discovered to our great delight the other night that the back deck is the lucky beneficiary of spectacular sunsets. Can't wait for cocktail hour when we get all moved in!
Well done, Mira, on the cam link!

Homely, it's like this in the UK, trees are in full leaf and blossom everywhere. This last 10 days or so, the flowers have come on in leaps and bounds.
