So this dam is located in Fukushima! I'll be damed ;)

I went to the map, looked up Ono, searched for a dam and couldn't find one. I decided to approach it a different way and asked for "Dams in Fukushima prefecture."

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mira,  I just went through the steps and actually clicked on it and it came up with exactly what was in your link!!!   But that still doesn't explain why it says Hiroshima. However, I don't bleepingwell care. Thank you for trying. :D

Yep ... that's the exact same thing that happened to me MD ... except my default map is the Olympic Peninsula.  :)

Mira, I click on google maps. A map of the UK appears and there is a bar in the top left corner for you to type in.  As soon as I get as far as Komachi dam, immediately underneath the box I'm typing in, it says "Dam near Komachi, Hiroshima. I've not gone further than that. I know...... my laptop has developed a mind of its own!!  LOL

And the Tesco thing, my daughter says she didn't log on my account, she put her post code in. I'd have thought the same place would deliver to both of us. Life can be so complicated. Roll on Ecuadorian chocolate.  :D

Mira, it's infuriating me because I've just done exactly the same and I'm still getting Hiroshima.

As for things being a law unto themselves, my daughter logged into my Tesco account on her computer and a lot of the things that I choose were not available in her area. She is minutes walk away from me!

Google Maps is a law unto itself MD ... I swear the options change, depending on what country you're looking at it from!  :D

Mira Bilis, that's not what I got. As I typed in Komachi dam I didn't get any further than that.... it supplied a list of options to click on and one of them was Komachi  Dam, Hiroshima, no map like you showed in the link.

No matter, I'm happy that you are right.  :D

I typed in exactly what you said MD and it came up with La Dam Hiro Italian Restaurant in Hiroshima ... so I can see where you were coming from, lol.  :D

Mira Bilis, please, please go to Google maps and type it in and you'll see why I thought it was in Hiroshima. Go on, you know you want to!!!  LOL   But I do believe you, honestly....  :D

LOL MD!!  :D  Well according to that dam website it's just west of Ono in Fukushima Prefecture ... there's a tiny place called Shobuya at the point of the V shaped reservoir.  :)

Mira Bilis, I'm obviously an internet clutz. I did the right click thing and had a panel open saying mumbo jumbo about security so I beat a hasty retreat. How I got to Hiroshima ...... I wondered where this place was in relation to the power station so I went to Google maps and typed in "Komachi Dam." It offered "dam near Komachi, Hiroshima, Hiroshima Prefecture.
