If you are doing it right and the glass is hot enough you don't have to blow that hard.  But you do need strength....those pipes with the hot glass are heavy and you have to keep them moving or the glass will drop off!  And you need a LOT of heat endurance which is something I lack.  Last summer I was helping one of the guys blowing and the temp at my station was 132 degree F!!!  I thought I would melt.

Hi raven880, thank you for bringing this cam to my attention. I love glass ware. So did my father. He was forever buying me glass gifts and crystal. I have quite a few pieces of Murano glass, wonderful colours. Also, Wexford crystal. Something beautiful about glass. I understand you need a good pair of lungs to do the blowing!

I wish there was a better view of the guys blowing glass.  I've done some glass blowing and loved it but I'm too old now and it takes more strength than I have but I still love watching it.

All my life I wanted to be a glass blower but sadly it's not going to happen now. You guys are so talented and so lucky.
Well, at least I can stay glued to this wonderful webcam.
Thank you so much for sharing this with me.
:) :) :)
