Mira ..... I think we are very lucky down south as the storm is set to hit the northern parts first. I like to think it'll run out of steam by the time it gets to us but the weathermen don't agree!  :D

Ugh MD ... when I was chatting to my mum yesterday she also mentioned that.  She said on the Country File weather report they said it would be just wind and rain.  So basically you and I will have the same weather in the coming days.

Very atmospheric.  Just heard on our news that tomorrow we are getting the storm that hit the east coast. We are hoping it's minus the snow!

It looks like they're celebrating gays today--the bridge is lit up like a rainbow :)

Mira, there was a book shop in Lloret that sold English books. We used to book into the hotel, go to the shop with a list of books we wanted, stay a day or 2 at the hotel then down to southern Spain. On the return journey we collected the books we'd requested, all second hand and inexpensive. I miss doing that! LOL

What a beautiful place MD!!  :D 

Mira Bilis, this is a not too old castle. Our hotel was a short walk to the left. Last time I was there, an English couple owned the castle. There are steps carved into the rock face. I only went so far up. I'm not keen on heights.
