There used to be a Chinese laundry in Wolverhampton that belted out a lot of steam. It was in an old terraced building and I always thought the neighbours must benefit from the heat!

MD....my feet are always cold....must try to find a way to get them into my armpits for warmth...LOL...i think that is how surivalist say to do it!! it's 42F out now since the sun has come out!!

OMG Trix!!!! That's horrible. And you're going to have that for 7 to 10 days??? We have just had a yellow alert for rain and I'd much rather have heavy rain than cold temperatures. I shiver for you! :)

NQ.... our lanes were built for horse and cart.... lots of single tracks winding up steep hills. I don't think a snow plough would get up them. Which is just as well because we don't have a snow plough! Drive carefully. :)

MD I live only 20 minutes from St Paul,MN which at this moment is at a standstill because they have 3" of snow on the roads and these are not hilly roads ! so it's basically the same here as where you're at. Most of the standstill on the roads here can be blamed on people driving...
