I don't think IP's are an exact science. My IP is Seattle ... which is roughly 100 miles east of where I actually live. :)

Thanks Mira for finding it and the canals on this lake explains what I was seeing on those 2 occasions. It still seems strange that 3 of these ip locators http://www.iplocation.net/ were showing this as being Monroe,LA

Preesi I normally can only stay sign in for 30 minutes at a time and every once in awhile Opentopia surprises me and keeps me sign in for a few hours at a time--that's very rare.

I should probably explain that the reason I went looking to see if this was a Mississippi cam instead of a lake cam is because twice I've seen the cam pointed towards what looks like a dam which could be part of the lock & dam near La Crosse on the Mississippi.
