Oh, so sorry to hear about BIL losing job. :-( CA is really hit badly in all this. Schwartie is going to start signing stuff and sell it on CL and ickbay to make money for the state. Pretty desperate.

I heard ickbay is bad for everyone and much of that has to do with search changes and the fact that they are getting rid of small sellers as they have no need for them anymore.

my hubby has a twin bro in SoCal. He tried to get him to sell his house a few years ago and move here. 900 sq ft was worth over 300k (then) now worth 1/2 as much or less. And he lost his job a few weeks ago!

Housing here is still outrageous too, just not as many people buying. Economy is slower but this area is filled with rich Microsoft, Starbucks, Boeing people who hoarded money during the greed times. My neighborhood is filled with $50k SUVs, porsches, BMWs and convetible mercedes...
