I just assumed that Computer Science Lab students, being tech-savvy, would be more aware of the camera surveillance.

Well here I go again ...... showing a gaping hole in my knowledge .... why should they be even more aware?

Indeed NQ ... not to mention that these are Purdue students, so even more reason for them to be aware of cameras in the room.
