Trix .... you're right. If I'm not going anywhere I don't mind what the weather does but if I'm going out it does complicate things. When I had a car it was a case of wearing whatever I wanted and just having a coat available for an emergency. Now ..... with the fact I have quite a walk .... it matters. Often I've gone out in a heavy, hooded, waterproof coat ..... only for the sun to blaze down on me once I've got to the next town. It also works the opposite way on!!!!

LOL MD....most of the time, it's best to just look out our windows for the forecast!!!!

Why is it that when the forecast says sunshine .. they often get it wrong but when they say rain .. it's accurate? And you are right ..... give me rain any day rather than snow.

MD...at this point, if it were december it would be snow falling!!!   enjoy the rain!!!

MD...we are in a humid heatwave....thunderstorms for 3 days this week....weatherman was probably wrong again!!

Hahahaha..... thanks for sharing that with me!  It's a miserable day here ...... raining for hours and no sign of an end to it.  If nothing changes ... that firework display at Plymouth tonight will be a washout.
