Hi Zedyer. Yes, it is sad. My son said that other children at school would say what they had done over the weekend with their father, or what they had planned for the coming weekend. Some boys would ask what my son had planned and then say "Oh, forgot, you haven't got a dad anymore." What makes me feel so sad is that my son kept it to himself until just recently. As they say, it's the children who suffer.

Hi Dona. It's good to talk, gets it out of the system. I've just looked at a map. It's a heck of a long way from Yuba to Savannah! So many broken marriages, I split from my first husband when my children were 8 and 9 years old. I thought I did a pretty good job bringing them up on my own but my son (a grown man,now) told me recently that he really missed having a father around when he was younger. But we can't turn back the clock.

it was in 1969 through the mid 1970s  i was bullied onnce i got back to savnnah i left twice once to live in las vegas for two years  and again in 1996 when my father pasted away my mother still lives here in savannah whenthey divorced mother brought us very young to savannah  savannah is and will always be my home italk to much dona
