Hmm shows what I know, never seen the narrows of the mississippi before, must be quite deep, heard it is up to more than 50 feet deep in places, long ago my brother used his large fisihing boat as a charter to catch the huge Gar that populates the Mississippi. Last time i saw the Mermaiden was in a film around  New York harbor.

FYI, I painted the Mermaids on the sides, hahahahahaah, got a couple tickets for it as he pulled that monster down the road, as it caused wrecks from guys staring at the Fishies on the prow hahahahah, they were designed to show only the backs and head at slow speed.  Thiniing about that is amusing

I always wonder about them when the weather is so bad. Nests don't have a roof. Poor things.

There's a couple eagles here today diving for fish. I know the feathers insulate them but I wonder how they handle the cold.

Hi N Q. I can well imagine that. I love it when the leaves change colour. But then, I also love Spring when the buds are forming.

This view is really pretty in the Fall when all of the trees turn colors.
