This looks a fun place, reading some of the reviews. Seems it's called the Pink Pony club because the building is painted pink. The food sounds very good.
This woman that just walked up, kinda makes you wonder if the gal is a gal, as the name of the place is already susspitious Dang it, cant spell worth a wit tonight, bye

Mira Bilis, I only just saw your comment. We used to have a motorbike. That allowed us to get to more inaccessible places but we never had a boat, even when we lived at Port Grimaud with a mooring less than 40 feet away.
Mira Bilis05/21/14 19:08
You didn't have a boat MD? Around here, the inaccessible beaches can only be reached by boat or kayak ... or in some cases, a long hike from a trailhead. :)

Shyannedianne, what a shame. I have an aunt who lives at Blackpool, FY4 postcode. She's getting on a bit and has asked me to go and visit her. Maybe I should. Then I can have a stroll along the prom. I always remember it being very breezy every time I went there. I stayed at my daughter's last night and she reminded me that she went to Blackpool on her honeymoon! She and hubby were motorbike mad and there was some rally going on. :D
Mira Bilis, there are some beaches down south of France that you can only reach by swimming from one bay to another. It's a beggar trying to do that with a picnic!! :D
Shyannedianne, which part are you from?
MD
Mira Bilis05/21/14 15:27
I'll take your word for it Shyanne ... I haven't been there since I was a kid. :) I prefer my beaches to be empty these days, although relatively speaking, there are far less public beaches in America than in the UK. Mind you, that being said, there are plenty of "public" coastlines around here ... they're just impossible to get to because of the mountains and forests. :)

OMG!!!! I'd forgotten the donkey rides! I've never been up the tower. I definitely did the sandcastles, still do if I think nobody is watching me!! LOL
Mira Bilis05/19/14 19:49
Aah ... I remember going to see the Blackpool Illuminations as a child ... riding a donkey on the beach ... going up the Blackpool Tower ... building sandcastles. It feels like 100 years ago. ;)
