N Q, I wasn't expecting you to reply to me, I just wanted you to be aware that your comment had been taken the wrong way. I think your suggestion is spot on. Looking on the bright side has been proved to be good for your health. Recovery rates after operations are better and speedier in people who have a positive outlook. It works for me. One week might make a really big difference.  Fingers crossed.

MD I did see your post this morning which is why I took a look to see what he posted on the bench--I just didn't have time to reply to your post by the time I finished my post to him.

Ah ... sounds like your computer's security software is kicking in ... so many different ones out there.  I think refreshing stills flash mode works here when live feed isn't available. :)

MD, if you click on that link I posted lower down you can view the live network cam (change the video format to Motion JPEG.)  I certainly had to squint a bit though ... and wait for the tree branch to move out of the way for a moment.  ;)

Mira Bilis, well done!  I haven't got live feed so there was no way I could see the sign, let alone read it. LOL

Okay ... finally found it .  I was able to make out that sign, which says "Rockford,"  which is a nice little town in MI.  This is Garden Club Park next to Rum Creek.  That building on the left is the back of an Arnie's restaurant.  :)

Mira, Kalamazoo takes me back. I studied Kalamazoo system of book keeping after I left the police force and got a job doing accounts. The hours were more sociable and child friendly.

Actually this place looks like some kind of public building and grounds ... but I can't make out that sign on the footpath.  Plus there appears to be water off to the right ... maybe a river or pond.  So far the only place with a river running through it, that NQ mentioned, is Kalamazoo.

Right now it looks like a band is setting up on that bandstand/stage for a function of some kind.

no wonder this one doesn't have a city listed. The ip# locators came up with 4 different Michigan cities for this one--Allendale, Cashova, Kalamazoo & Kent City.

It looks like it could be a park or restaurant.

I found this site of Michigan webcams if anybody has time to look through them, I would but I need to head out the door soon.
