After my first week or so on Opentopia I started to make every cam "My Cam."   I'd noticed that the number of cams fluctuated daily.  Some come, some go.  At one time there were over 4,500.  I have way more than that.  One of the cams that came up today was a complete surprise to me.  Because it didn't say "Add to my cams," ... I knew I hadn't seen it before.   That's only happened a handful of times in 8 years.  I obviously missed it when it was a live cam  .... which makes me wonder how spammer found it when your or I would not have been able to do so.

Both sites mentioned are legit businesses but I'm certainly not going to get into indulging their promotions.

Just watched an English history chapter on our Public Broadcast network which featured the Devon Coast.....SO lovely !!

I was wondering the same thing.  Very strange.

I'm sure there used to be a Santa Cruz cam.

What surprised me to see those comments is that these cams are not available in the ordinary way.   I'm sure if you looked at the California cams ... you would not find this cam.

It was good to see this cam, though.  Took dtr up there when she was looking at colleges.  Beautiful campus.  She wound up at Univ. of CA at Santa Cruz...also very beautiful!

Might be better to "tinker" on a live cam.
