It may be fog as it takes quite a while to clear in the Bay, usually around midday, but could be smog also. I lived in San Jose for my formative years, and any holiday or visit to San Francisco or the coast meant fog. Welcome back, MR, I missed you!
Is this pollution or a mucky cam? It would be a beautiful view if it was clear.
