Indeed Teo ... it will be interesting to see how things change and evolve ... hopefully they will adapt in a positive way. I'm sure it will have some kind of knock-on effect up here in WA ... we may end up getting species that we've never seen here before.

Mira, The birds and critters are changing their habits here. I have bird feeders and water for them but I'm not getting as many migratory birds. I figure they are probably looking for greener pastures. They may have stayed in OR and WA. The Juncos usually winter here but I didn't see any last winter. No lawns and the lack of the water people use to maintain the lawns would sure change the ecology.

Hi Teo ... that's very sensible I think ... although one wonders what kind of impact, if any, it will have on the habits of garden birds/insects, etc.
