Carol.. it's annoying when you feel well but find you can't do the things you want to do.  As you said.. slow and steady's the way to go. But it's so frustrating when you want to get up and at it!!!!

Oh believe me I learned that lesson the hard way. I tried to go back to work after my first surgery. What a setback. I will take my time this time.

Carol.. I know you're not silly but I have to say this. It's so easy to think you are better and try to do too much too soon ... which can really set you back. You keep taking it easy until there is absolutely no doubt that you're better. :))

Mira it could grounds around a public building. Because it is Memorial weekend most parks would be loaded with cars unless there was storm damage, lack of funding or flooding that would cause it to close on a busy weekend.

The Stillwater bridge is being replaced in 2016 after a 25 year battle to close it down due to the fact that it's falling apart. You can actually walk down below the bridge and pull chucks of cement out of the pilars because it's so old. The fact that it has to be lifted every 30 minutes for boats has also worn away on the bridge. It's a bridge that when I and others cross it we leave our window open for fast escape if it falls down on the way across it--needless to say I try to stay off it if posible.

But I'll miss it when it's gone :(

I wonder if this is actually the grounds of some conference centre, library or municipal building, rather than a park?  The camera keeps panning around to the large building that its attached to.

I'm over on a Minnesota cam watching an old draw bridge in the up position letting boats go under it. They lift the draw part of this bridge at the top and bottom of the hour if there are boats waiting to pass to the other side.

Trix, I really like this cam. If you wait long enough you see plenty of bird feeders and different views.

this is nice...has a purple martin birdhouse...purple martins like apartment dwellings...
