It is scary but I live in L.A. and the fires are down in San Diego. I just happen to be going to San Diego that day.

OMG I had to drive by the fires last week. They even had to stop traffic on the busiest freeway in the country for 2 hrs. cuz it was near the road. My luck I just happened to be on that freeway.

Seriously though ... it saddens me when I see all the wildfires.  So much drought ... people really should fill in their stupid swimming pools and grow drought-resistant plants instead.

Carol, UK news was full of the fact that California had rain. So you were lucky/unlucky to miss it, depending how you feel about it!  LOL

Lol, that is exactly what happens here in So. Cali. Our rain is like little bitty towns u pass on the freeway. If u blink, you miss it.
