More pretty snow.

WOW!!!! Fancy Homely being a ski instructor. This place must have a beautiful view.

Looks like all the snow has finally gone.

We used to go there every year for about ten years, until the kids got too old to take out of school to go skiing - it's way too expensive to ski during their Christmas holiday. Snowmass has one of the best kids' ski schools in the country (I used to be a ski instructor, so that was important to me), so that is why we made the choice to go there year after year. Prior to the kids, we hated skiing in the same place twice. We met skiing, got engaged on Alta, and honeymooned at Whistler/Blackcomb. Nowadays, we almost never get on skis because we just don't have the time. Sad.

The houses in that area are beautiful Homely ... all that stone and timber, I love it.  I take it you've visited here then?

Mira and MD, agree that this looks a lot like the houses off of Two Creeks - you might never find this one just going from the street view, though. Two Creeks is a lift and ski run, and the road serves as a means of getting one to the houses along that ski run. A good number of them are back off the road, sited more for access to the run than to the road. There's actually a spot at which you are skiing on a bridge over the road itself, which is a very strange feeling, indeed. There are also a couple of developments made out of former ranch properties, but they are a bit more far flung around the area. It's all beautiful, though!

Mira I green thumb you but this might be more of a security cam then a porch cam. Half of the time it's pointed towards the garage doors and the other half of the time it's pointed towards the porch.

Back in Aug it was pointed towards a road and the roof of another house which is probably why it was named as a weather cam.

Mira Bilis, I love Snowmass Village. There are lovely homes in a beautiful area. I spent ages trying to find that particular home and in the process saw so many super places.

It reminds me of the homes along Two Creeks Drive in Snowmass Village, CO, that I looked at on Streetview.  Beautiful big wood and stone houses.

This is a nice looking building, wonder if it's a house or a hotel ?

As a reminder to myself for what this view used to be--

it was a curved paved road on a hillside looking towards the top of a house.

And even more snow. What a beautiful view.

How miserable. Enough is enough.... unless you are making a living from it!
