Mira Bilis, thanks for the links. The lion dance is very cleverly performed. Seeing oranges being thown into the audience reminds me of a visit to the London Palladium. They threw sweets at us!

And carnivals in Spain are generous with the sweets. I've often taken a bag with me to collect them!
