I seem to remember he painted a can of soup. Bizarre.

They used to say that about Andy Warhol too ... I'm still scratching my head over some of his stuff. ;-)

Mira Bilis, that was mesmerising. I watched it from beginning to end but I can't see why on earth anyone would want to produce that. I'm gonna have to make a real study of youtube! :)

OMG Mira, that's hilarious and gross at the same time !
Mira Bilis, is that a cover version or did you write it yourself? LOL!
N Q03/12/14 22:14
OK Mira the words "fish heads, eat 'em up - yum!"
shouldn't be in the same sentence together !! I'm one of those people who can't eat a fish when the eye is staring at me--yuck
Mira Bilis03/12/14 22:02
I want one that sings "Fish heads, fish heads, eat 'em up - yum!" ;-D
N Q03/12/14 21:55
MD here in the midwest our singing fish sang a song that actually made sense for a fish to sing--grin
ours sang "take me to the river"

Mira Bilis, I've seen lots of those singing fish all over the place and they all sang "Don't worry, be happy." Even in France. Beats me why they were invented. Apart from the money they bring in!
Mira Bilis03/10/14 23:55
That's good NQ ... and I agree that selective culling is sometimes necessary to keep a herd healthy. I've had venison and bison before but I've yet to try actual elk meat (although the herd that comes in our garden is safe from us ... so beautiful.) :-)
That fish over the fireplace looks like one of those awful things that starts singing and flapping at the flick of a switch! LOL! ;-D
MD03/10/14 23:34
I'm glad he has to dust his heads. LOL!
I like venison although I've not eaten it in the UK. And I think I'd rather be shot than starve!
N Q03/10/14 22:28
MD yes my BIL job is to dust his heads :)
Mira whatever he kills he does eat. Him & my sister actually like venison, the elk meat was new to both of them but they both said it was good.
Around here there are so many deer that if they're not thinned out before winter they end out dying from starvation over the winter months. This winter has been very hard on the deers with the severe cold and so much snow covering their food source.
MD03/10/14 21:10
Ideal for burning logs. I love the smell of woodsmoke, except when it's a forest fire!
Mira Bilis03/10/14 20:10
It does look like a cozy place though ... that fireplace is almost identical to ours. :-)
MD03/10/14 20:04
Mira Bilis, I agree.
Mira Bilis03/10/14 18:58
LOL NQ .... well my philosophy toward hunting has always been ... respect nature andnever kill what you're not prepared to eat. Trophy hunting is simply for those who are making up for other personal inadequacy issues. ;-)
MD03/10/14 18:20
N Q, I hope your brother in law has to do the dusting! :))
trix abound03/10/14 18:08
yes...definately a guy thing...lol
N Q03/10/14 18:00
Trix the dead fish is better then the dead elk and deer heads my brother in law has convince my sister they look good hanging on the walls--LOL
Us Wisconsinites and Minnesotans tend to put a lot of dead things on the walls !!
