Mira Bilis, my laptop is equipped for Skype but now I've got nobody to Skype! And your daughter visiting Ecuador... how fantastic!

76710, Skype was very simple for me to set up and use, as my laptop came with the app tile already on the start screen. But if you go to the Skype home page it's pretty simple to set up from there too. And if your daughter also has Skype (as is the case with my daughter) then it's free to talk between one Skype user and another, regardless of where you/they are in the world. That's what makes it so cool. Oh and you can also talk for free to eachother if you both have a Gmail account, via Google Hangout/Chat, which is what my daughter and I used when she was visiting Ecuador. :)

76710 and Mira Bilis, I spent 15 years abroad, only seeing my children once a year. It's very hard. I'm glad to be back but I'm sure Skype would have helped us a lot. I really wish I'd had a computer.
76710.... you owe it to yourself to get to grips with Skype. Good luck! :)

Mira Bilis ~ thanks for the info. That's a good idea about Skype. I'll have to see if I can figure out how to use it. My daughter comes for a visit once a year for a couple of months but her visit is overdue. I hope you get to see your daughter more often. :-)

76710, unfortunately Opentopia has no control over the webcams ... it simply presents them as they are. I'm sorry you're missing your daughter. I too am a mum living in America with a daughter in the UK, so I know how you feel. I do talk to her via Skype every week if I can though. :)

I hope the webcam is fixed soon. She reminds me of my daughter and I miss seeing her. This time, I hope they will give us a better view. Last time was too much wall and desk. Thanks to whomever fixes it. ~ from a lonely TX Mom with a daughter in the UK.

Please adjust the camera. Unless she leans forward I can only see her arms. It's showing too much desk, wall and door. Thanks

The camera is too close to the work area.....needs to be turned to the right and pulled back a bit. I wish the Red haired lady as well as the Blonde haired lady would come back to work. I miss them. I wish I knew how to contact them....would love to send them a letter.

kyle02/25/14 07:43

This is the 3rd day i have seen this and she still has on the Same Clothes? how many hours does she work?
7671001/26/14 07:26
To MasterScribe USA: it could possibly be a reservations office for AirBaltic since there's an AirBaltic sign above the desk area. Also, there's an AirBaltic reservations office in Moscow: https://www.airbaltic.com/en/offices-representatives/RU
The sign on the wall says ''Information". I've been trying to figure it out, too. The 2 ladies work very long hours, except for weekends. I've seen 12-14 hour shifts before. I don't think they know about the camera. I have seen "Blondie" point a remote control towards the wall when she was leaving but I figure it was to turn off a TV or radio. If you figure it out, please let us know :-)

Does anyone know what type of business this is? Wonder if the employees know they are being watched around the world?

Hi Carson. It IS fun to be able to see what's going on all over the world. I remember the first text message I sent to a friend in Australia. Amazing that in seconds it went half way around the world. Kids take that sort of thing for granted but I'm impressed! Have a good day yourself.

Good morning MD.
I dont get a chance to do much www surfing lately, but I enjoy seeing all the various places.
It's simply fascinating seeing folks go about their daily routines all over the world and chatting with fellow global
hoppers such as yourself.
Please have a great day and stay safe & warm.

Hi Carson. The other day I saw this lady with her head down, sound asleep.
I agree about the lighting, very poor.
carson01/15/14 12:15
Sure could use much better lighting. So common to many of these Russian offices.
On the brighter side, they ARE employed.
