Looking a bit chilly this afternoon.

Mira Bilis 03/16/14 21:12

Lots of folks on the boardwalk ... and paragliders over the sea.

Mira Bilis 02/11/14 23:26

Looks breezy here too.

Green thumbs clicky clicky ... I worked out the location from the business name on the umbrellas, then looked it up. :-)

MD 02/07/14 16:43

Yes, it looks lovely.

Dobielvr.... are you still out there?  :)

Mira Bilis 02/07/14 16:25

Looks breezy but pleasant here.  :-)

Hi Dobielvr.  It would be good if you COULD check in more often. It's always nice to have someone to chat to. I know we kept each other going on kestrel watch!  I think you've met Dona, she's another chatter. Of course, we are missing our biggest chatty man of all time..... Kyle. Hopefully he'll soon be back.

Difficult to chat really, with the difference in time. It's just gone 4pm in the UK.

Hi all, glad I tuned in to this site last night, it was an awesome viewing. Sorry you missed it MD, and yes the kestrel cam will be very hard to beat. Will try to check in more often.  Have a good night!  Dobielvr

Hi Dona.

Lovely avatar and wherever this is, it's beautiful. I love to see the sea like this. And hear it.

MD 08/21/13 14:13

And wouldn't you know...... I missed it all!

Hi girls.  Are those pictures called avatars?  Whatever they're called, they are very nice.

As for the nest cams, I've been going through the cams finding as many nests as I can so that next year we shall be in the know from the first egg. I'm still enjoying the stork cams but I think those kestrels will take some beating.

I saw this at about 5am Greenwich mean time. Thanks for drawing my attention - it was awesome in the real sense of the word. It has a pinkish red sky now- which looks beautiful.

Hi MD, I don't get on here much anymore since our birds flew the coop. Lol. Am watching a magnificent lightning storm over the ocean right now. It's 11:00 pm in the states.

MD 08/09/13 22:37

Back to the red and white stripes..... Liberia and Malaysia have them on their flags.

Hi Dobielvr, haven't seen you since the kestrel cam. I've just looked at the nesting box and there's not even a feather in it. I see a bit of a flag with red and white stripes.... OH!!! and a man's head!

MD

Dobielvr 08/09/13 22:19

This is somewhere in the USA because I saw an American flag in the wind. :-)

jules 07/21/13 17:35

In America, they often build elaborate decking to get to the beach - might be there.
