N Q, and we are still a chatty bunch! Still at school, coming up to Christmas one year, I was chucked out of choir practice. As punishment I had to roll out copies of carol sheets on an old gestetner. It was for our upcoming carol concert. After rolling out the copies I had to staple them together for each girl. I put them together in random order, with just the first page being in the correct place. Such fun when we got to the bottom of the first page and everyone turned over to a variation of songs. Much shuffling went on and..... you guessed it.... I was thrown out again. :D
How my old teachers laughed when I went back to visit in my police uniform!

LOL this view is pretty but what I'm really enjoying is the conversation going on here !!
Add me to the club of "talk to much in school". I got kicked out of more then one class for the day because I couldn't stop talking or laughing about something :)

sometimes you just can't help but laugh...and yes...sometimes it seems so wrong but you laugh all the more because of the situation you are in...lol
Mira Bilis05/18/14 15:46
ROFL!! We'd make a formidable team then! :D I had the same issue at school and at work ... a loud, hearty laugh. Plus, I have a somewhat deep and husky voice which hubby loves (think Liz Hurley ;) ) but it's fooled a few people on the phone in the past when they've mistaken me for a bloke!! :D I still can't get used to the female west coast accent out here ... so high-pitched it seems like they could commune with dogs ... or dolphins! ;P
MD05/18/14 15:32
Trix, you and I would get on well then. I love a hearty laugh. If it's funny - it's funny and deserves a good laugh.

i often thought that the hand over the mouth was to hide a missing tooth...lol...i laugh too loudly for that to work for me...
MD05/18/14 14:43
Trix, LOL!!! I've got some old school reports saying the same! Also saying that I have an unfortunate sense of humour. I think they meant I could always see the funny side of things, and laughed too much. I went to an all girls posh school where decorum was the order of the day and laughing wasn't considered polite and socially correct behaviour. You were expected to simper behind your hand. Can't be done. LOL!!

MD...i'v always been a dreamer...even says so on my old report cards from school...lol

My son and his fiancee bought a plot of land in Scotland and are now, legally, Lord and Lady. Trix, I have a friend with "her own" star. It must be lovely to look up and dream!!!
Mira Bilis05/18/14 00:42
Well I wasn't actually at the release ... somebody did it on my behalf ... but it's nice to think of it swimming out in the deep ocean somewhere. :)

Yes, strawberries and cream - and Pimms = Wimbledon! :)
Mira Bilis05/18/14 00:21
Somewhere out there, there's a turtle with a radio-tag with my name on it, that was released off the South Carolina coast last year. :)
Tennis makes me think of strawberries & cream and a glass of Pimms. ;)
