Trix... without help like that these shelters couldn't exist. It's a good idea that the animals are played with. They stand more chance of getting a new home if they are child-friendly.

MD...many of the older animals are there because their older owners died!!!

MD...the shelter is where our old blankets and towels go...and any pet food my cats won't eat...my daughter donates so much stuff to them that she gets thank-you notes from them...my other daughter takes the grand-daughter there for a visit...spend the day at the shelter and play with the animals for free!!!

Trix.. I just noticed your comment about the no-kill shelter. We have those here but they rely on charity. Always seems wicked to put down a healthy animal. It's the former owners who want sorting out!
I'm glad you are keeping your eye on Brevard's resume. :)

LOL at first I thought somebody is home today and watching tv but I think they left the tv on for the cats. It looks like fish swimming across the tv screen & there is one cat on the couch watching from the far corner.

Trix... no... you weren't rambling. You were just saying what you had to be thankful for. And then I saw a cat somewhere and it reminded me of your cat. I wonder if it has ever been illtreated. Now it knows that you are a safe-house! Roll on your 40 degree weather. :)

This could become the new "Cincinnati Kitchen Cam" ... especially if they have the occasional party. ;)
