I agree NQ ... those Dropcam ones are very funky.  :)  They make some amazing things with 3D printers now ... I saw in the news a while ago where someone had printed prosthetic limbs ... it was so incredible.  I guess the possibilities are endless.

OK I just came back to tell you that the dropcam 3D printers are moving right along and caught a guy here doing something to this printer, but couldn't see what he was doing.

I think I've seen probably 6 or 7 3D printers and each one has been totally different looking then the others. I like the look of the dropcam printers best because they look more futuristic then the others :)

Whatever it is, it's always fascinating to watch.  NQ, did you see that Dropcam link I posted on the Bench the other day, to those other 3D printers?  Kyle commented that he thought they'd stalled, but in actual fact they just work very slowly and methodically.  :)

I've seen the 3D printers that use plastic pellets to print with but this one looks like it's printing with roll of black wire--wonder what they're making ?
