This reminds me of my youth, we had a spring below the house, it looked very much like this, except there was a stone spring house and a large expance of what most would call a swamp below, there was the same water plants and swampweeds, and much wildlife came there.  Oddly enough, there was tame Catfish in that spring house, due to their being tame,  my father forbade fishing for them (they came in through a hole in the wall). Hahhhaha one of my better memories

I would Love to be able to sit quietly by the swampy or like this area, unfortunately those little blood suckers  are terrible this year in Florida

(OH, BTW not hardly any West Nile, very strange for my area)
