Apparently they have a whirlwind tour over just four days ... Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Manitoba.  That's a lot of ground to cover in such a short space of time.  I'll have to check NS Webcams etc.  ;)

The moors had a fair bit of snow this morning and we had the overspill. Luckily it melted as it hit the ground. Those large flakes sound beautiful, N Q.

trix how much sap does it take to get a quarter cup of syrup out of it ?

MD right now I have snowflakes that are 2" wide coming down--it's so pretty and because it's been raining all morning the snow is melting as it hits the ground so they might be wrong about how much actually accumulates.

OMG...the big one on the east coast missed us yesterday but temps dropped to 10 to 15 last nite...after a winter like this i will expect to have summer well into december this year...fingers crossed...my son got enough sap from the trees to get 1/4 cup of syrup...which they savoured

I hope the forecasters have got it wrong.

trix neither do we. It's been raining all day which would of been a nice sign of spring but it's changing over to snow right now and the forcast is for 6" of the white stuff :(
