Not much of an auto show right now. One lonely little car, sitting and waiting for all his friends.

Mira ..... very nice link. I agree with you that they can't be driven to their full potential on ordinary roads. We used to see a lot of posers at St Tropez. I once saw Eddie Irvine there (he drove for Ferrari in Formula 1).... he had a Ferrari but it was racing green .... not a very flattering colour. What was impressive was the fact that the panel over the engine was glass. You could actually see the engine and it was sooooo clean. I have photos. :D

Even as a non-driver I can appreciate a beautifully designed car ... although I often wonder what's the point of them beyond the race track, as they can't be driven at top speeds on normal public highways without breaking the law (apart from on the autobahn in Germany.) I guess some people just have them as status symbols.

Mira... this reminds me of when I used to take my kids to the motor shows at the NEC. Every stand seemed to have something to give away... pens, pencils, balloons, badges etc. The kids used to come home with at least one bagful of goodies each. Actually it was my father who used to take all of us but once inside he looked at the cars while we went on the hunt!!! LOL
