I couldn't imagine Fritz retiring, unless he's been incapacitated  I've seen him working at 3am. I'll do a search tomorrow and see what I can find out.  I really miss him.  I appreciated it when the fairground came to town and he changed the angle of his cam so that we were able to see the fun of the fair.

He also has external blinds like the ones in the screenshot ... very popular in many parts of Europe.

And now the light isn't too bright I can see that his window catches are very similar to mine. I wonder if Fritz has window locks too.

I don't think they're French windows in front of his desk .... just an ordinary window. The light is too bright for me to see the window handle but mine are similar to the door handle but vertical when the window is closed.
