It is beautiful in the country side, adorned with true country folks. THe cities if large are just that, large cities, but the small hamlets are going to please you. THis place here reminds me of a few well traveled Guesthouses (Tavernss or clubs, depends on where you frequent) THey treat you well, no scowling Bartender or worn out waitress . Most forbid drinking on the Job, or did, and hahaha generally speak the Kings English much better than we could in the larger inns at the Airport of Train stations. Germany has always been proud of the hamlets and cities by keeping them clean, this might amaze you if like it was when I was there. THe most quaint thing I was amazed at, was the houses over the barns in some hamlets.

Hi Kyle, When I looked at this site last night there was no one in here... the chairs were all up on the tables.. but today the place is packed! I've never been to Germany but maybe someday. My neighbor and friend that lives next door to me is from Germany and she travels back to see her family at least once a year. Maybe one day I will go with her. My mother often says how lovely it is as she did take a trip to Germany to see my brothers, both stationed there at the time.

THis puts me in mind of the type of lounge in the 60's when I was there, at an airport
