MD yes, that's a washer and maybe a dryer or 2 washers. There's also a vacuum cleaner, toaster, blender, fan and other appliances so maybe instead of a thrift shop, this is an appliance shop or a thrift appliance shop.

It reminds me of a Sears catalog store where they have samples of different appliances that you can order through a catalog.
