Hi Rain Shadow ..... we can't see so much now.

New Year is fun in Spain. As the new year comes in - you have to eat 12 grapes, one at a time with each chime of the clock. We once shared a new year celebration  .... in Spain .... with an Italian couple. The hotel supplied us all with 12 grapes but the Italian lady had brought some cold cooked lentils with her and insisted we eat some ..... and I had to put my wedding ring into a glass of champagne. I've spent at least 10 Christmas/New Years in Spain. They actually celebrate as opposed to just getting drunk.

I see Tripadvisor has some nice photos of this place, too http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g1486546-d2095954-Reviews-Hostal_Pedraforca-Saldes_Catalonia.html   I wonder if guests know there is a camera pointing at them while they dine.  Perhaps it is used as a tool to encourage people to improve their table manners.

I truly wish I was staying in this hotel right now. I first enjoyed Spanish hospitality in 1966 and when we moved to live in France, near the Spanish border, in 1995 .... we were happy to spend lots of time in Spain. I'll be back this evening to look enviously at people enjoying themselves. I wonder if they will have any jamon from Trevelez .... it's the best there is.

Hay una cosa que me gustó mucho del texto, aunque aparece un par de páginas antesd de las que colgó Mario, es sobre que los artistas no hace falta que terminen, o hagan los trabajos, la documentación del proceso (en su web, blog, etc.) sirve para hacerlo visible, no hace una obra acabada.
