I have never seen any activity in this facility in the 2 mos I've been checking it.  Did it used to have animals in the stalls?

It makes me nervous to see cows that have rubbed the hair off their sides in close confines, and assume they are close to crazy, Ive seen cattle pens where they sense their impending doom and they go stark raving mad, I always thought it strange, as the kill floors are most times, more than a hundred miles away or more. Yes i admit some behaviors are strange for cows, like climbing a hill in a rain storm to expose themselves to lightening, but that dont make them stupid, I have never seen a real stupid cow, except something is wrong with their brain. In close confines they exibit bahavior that borders on insane after a little while.  Ah I have gone a bit far here, much more  however not the place to post it. I was speaking of the masses of young folks who are taking over, not the learned older ones, just some FYI

MD, Sakana is an old poster I know, very knowledgeable about Japanese life and things, Yes as i said, it is the times sadly, actually I doubt most Japanese know that cows can be very intelligent (same as chickens raised in the open), still, I wonder who is the worse, us, or those who don't understand better, sigh, we must eat.  I eat meat, wish I didn't have to, especially Pork products, uggg but some of it is very tasty, and here in the US, it is the cheapest meat besides some poultry products, personally  if I eat much (Pork) hurts my back, never asked a Doc about it, I think it is the Liver that hurts if possible, never thought to see if liver can hurt hahahahaah when one is poor, we eat what we can afford.

Thank you Sakana, I wish I could show you what I meant, it is the times now, a must thing now, as specialized super farms emerge on the scene, I guess cant be helped as people need to eat, you should see a chicken barn for commercial use.   We who were around farms when young, had open areas to raise beef and Poultry, nothing like the commercial farms now.  I used to hunt, i don't now, cant, it hurts to see the pain, call it what you will, I refuse to hunt except to eat, and haven't gotten that hungry in ages, I was into instruction for the Army, we all needed to thrive in our jobs, and eat what was needed to live, you would be surprised what one can eat and be healthy.

  Be well old friend, and be tolerant of us who know what it used to be like ,imagine this way, there must be foods you dislike, actually are disgusted about, We who were raised on farms long ago, are somewhat like that now, however it is the 21st century, you are only beginning to see the changes to feed society

Hi Kyle. I know EXACTLY what you mean. From my living room window I can see a farm house up on the hillside. Right now, the cows are grazing in a lovely grassy field. Enough said!!!!!
