MD03/20/15 12:52
Trix... I see Mira asked "where are the babel fish?" Looking at some of the comments I think "babble" fish would be more appropriate. LOL!!!
trix abound03/20/15 12:47
LOL!!
MD03/20/15 12:20
Trix .... see the "in a word" last line? The "word" was actually 12. LOL
I think Fish are a bit dumb, (not fundamentally) as in such as this place, the people moving likiely represents a possibility to escape, since the scenery is always moving hahaha. Pretty simple on the one hand, but needed to live in the wild, so smart? sice they play, we may be missing the point on Language and mental usage in fish, its said the Minnow type fish such as carps, its said they have a 10 second memory, cant be true, not in reality, if you move the scenery, the whole consept of things changing, they will act like they dont know its not what it should be, hence a new set of circumstances, its survival in nature.
In a word, they are ever moving watching the scenery move, inspires them to explore

kyle07/13/13 02:57
My whole point was the size of the fish, and got hung on the spelling, dang it kid, hahahaha
I've heard of some that get to over 5 feet, it seems to me, they are just colorful carp, which i might add, get well over 5 feet, I personally at 16 years old, hooked one in the Holston River here in Tennessee, it was longer than I was, in fact after playing it for more than an hour and a mile down stream, I saw it was about to throw the hook and jumped upon its back very foolish thing, could have killed me, as you suspect, it got away after tossing me in the air, hahahahahahahha A darned foolish thing to try, but as i said, I was 16, and wanted to show it off, to prove it to the Grandparents. If course telling it made me look foolish in their eyes, sad
(I really thought it was tired-er than I was hahhaah)
Be well kid
dona brantley07/07/13 06:32
hi kyle its koi but coy is fine with me i misspell all the time lol dona
kyle07/07/13 04:44
These seem to resemble Coi, I have heard they grow to tremendous size in a large area, in fact a new friend told he say a Coy that measured more than 5 feet after turning it loose in a large pond. He was on a crew that helped to move the fish because they were connecting 3 ponds to make a huge one, this particular fish hurt him as he tried to get it in the net, to transport it, he swears it hit him in the back with its tail and left a large welt and bruise . This likely is the Reason Coy are raised, they adapt to their surroundings.
Fascinating fish.
This is the first time i cant seem to remember the spelling , my dictionary seems stumped, surely its not COY, spelling seems strange
These are curious fish, if not bothered they might even play, never heard of it, as lower species don't play normally hahahaha always something to baffle me.
kyle04/20/13 05:53
Since they constantly move in captivity, they hope for an escape and in this case, some excitement to explore, is it any different than mental patients who pace to escape? both mentally and in reality, we cant say they are brainless can we? We know from Divers, many species of fish simply lay about in their environment, it doesn't make them brainless no more than humans who do it. Haahahaahah have a fine wonderful day, take a note from nature, be more curious, it helps to ease out lives
kyle04/20/13 05:49
Hmmm they, according to Science, are so stupid, they barely are able to find food, yet these fish are curious, curiosity suggests some intelligence, at least enough to make them at least as smart as Rodents such as squirrels, but are limited to the water environment effects, just as we are limited to the air environment, hmmm, maybe we are not as smart as we think we are if we look at the bigger picture, not like children who think they have no feelings, and are limited to a few seconds of realizations. you know who you are, the ones who write the drivel about intelligence and superiority
kyle02/17/13 04:03
Now these fish are at least 5 feet long, at least some are
