Trix ...... looks like the owner must have appealed against the council's decision! This picture takes me back about 35 years!
Hi Trix ... yes .... I like this. I like windmills. When I lived in the midlands someone lived in a windmill and painted it pink. The local council objected to the colour and the owner had to repaint. It was a shame.... my kids loved for me to take them for a drive out to the pink windmill. I don't know if you noticed my link in September:

This one was a little bit of a challenge. Had to translate the pages in wikipedia from dutch to english, but it was worth it. The pictures there are great. Seems this used to be a grain mill before world war II, but now it is not being used. Needed some heavy duty restoration. The mills name is Hope and it is owned by the city of Arnhem. Probablly my only chance to see a windmill up close. Not bad.
