Yes. We did say that tvs are out of place in a dining room but that's a pretty good excuse.

Exactly ... TV's are for bars and pubs ... they have no place in restaurants.

I agree. I've never noticed the tv before, maybe it hasn't been on. If I was out for a meal, the last thing I'd want is tv.
