Hi Mira ..... I've noticed that on Google with lots of places. I sometimes wonder if they go round early in the mornings but when you see lots of traffic - you know it has to be during the working day. It does surprise me how few people we see.

LOL MD ... I've often remarked that I think there are unofficial siestas going on all across America, purely because so few people seem to walk anywhere. Take a look at any small town on Google Streetview and count the pedestrians. ;)

I'd love to see them enforce a "siesta rule" here. LOL
I know it's only a recommendation but there are lots of places that already adopt the 3 hour siesta.
I bet you couldn't put a cigarette paper between people in Benidorm today. It will be packed!

Hahah!! Nobody light a cigarette!!! ;P

LOL. If they did manage to push them in, there would be such an oily slick from the suncream.

Greenpeace would have a field day ... trying to push all those beached whales back into the sea! ;P

And you wouldn't like the beach in the holiday season. The smell of suntan lotion hits you at a thousand paces and it's mainly English people. It's fun to drive through, seeing all those people with wobbly bits, inflated lilos under their arms, trying to cross the road to get to the sand. Having said all that....... I wouldn't say no to an out-of-season holiday! LOL

Nice beaches but I don't like the concrete cliffs. ;)

Hi Dona, it's a beautiful place but there are more English people there than Spanish. Also, alcohol is cheaper than in the UK so you find lots of drunk English people. The Spanish people who run the shops and bars must rub their hands with glee! :))
