Son should tell him he has to have the MRI as son wouldn't forgive himself if anything happened to his dad because he missed that scan. You really need to labor the point with son that it's too much responsibility for you to have.

MD....I thought the same thing because I asked him if they knew he had a metal rod in his neck and he said yes. I find it enjoyable working around the house without someone making stupid suggestions or comments on how I'm doing things....geesh...I've only had 50 years experiance.

a few years ago, doctors removed 3 or 4 vertebrae from his neck....for the life of me, I can't remember why!!! I don't miss him at all...I love having control of my home!!!!!!!!
