Mine could be silent for days and then we'd be invited to a bbq where he would be so chatty .... to me as well as others. He'd have a fair bit to drink and then I'd suggest leaving the bbq. He would very grudgingly go home and become silent again. Next day he'd have no recollect...

OMG......you mean the sighing is another "guy" thing???? I know it drives the kids crazy and I did suggest to him once that he should mention his breathing problem to his doctor :)
