Just checked on house prices in the Santa Clara California area. A modest condo starts at around 500,000 then house prices start at over 600,000...... so our lucky lady must be quite well off!! California is an expensive place to live.

hubby left yesterday at 3:30 to pick up papers at the courthouse for brothers son......he got back at 8:30 and said "you were right, they do close at 4:00"...he never made it, but I don't know where he was!!!!!

Our weatherman said cloudy all day and so far he's right. I'd heard that a food store was having a "French Week" so I caught 2 busses to get there and ....... nothing I could see. So I asked. Silly me .......their week starts on Thursday. Fancy starting a week on Thursday!
