Coffee at this time .... (your time) .... it would keep me awake. Outgoing calls can be restricted by the phone company, if you ask them .... and pay them, and you certainly wouldn't get a dial tone. I just saw your comment about BLT......... drools. :D

thats stupid....she would still get a dial tone!!!! having a second cup of coffee....been years since I have had more than one...just thought it would taste good....and it does :)

I asked a girl in the store if she could plug the replacement in to see if I got a dial tone. She said they only have incoming calls .... they're not allowed to make calls so there wouldn't be a dial tone. The store is called Argos ...... just in case anyone is thinking of buying...

It would be such a help with the finances if the town helped out. The phone is £4.99. They say postage is £3.95 x 2. I shall take it back on Friday and won't be buying from there again. BJ is sure she has a spare phone somewhere ..... just a matter of locating it. :D

you should call and talk to the place you got the dead phone from....explain to them about how difficult it is for you to go the distance and could they mail you a replacement plus a post paid package to send the dead one back!!!!!

I need a landline to get internet and had a working phone which I discovered didn't work last week. My electricity supplier wants me to pay £106 for this quarter or read my meter and send them the numbers on a free line which I can access from a landline but not my cell phone ......
