Cops get swamped with paper work ..... it's very annoying. I shouldn't say it but when you are coming to the end of your shift ... if you notice something that's petty and isn't really any harm - you turn a blind eye. It's infuriating to have a mountain of paper work for somethin...

I know from experience that things can crop up ..... police woman might have had something that needed dealing with instantly. I'd leave it a few days and then give her a call. Don't let it drop. Your head will be filled with "what ifs" ..... you wouldn't be normal if it wasn't. ...
