Hi stargzr. It's horrible. It's been raining solidly since yesterday morning and forecast to continue for at least 8 days. It's Storm Dennis. I see on the Dawlish cam that they've stopped traffic from using the lane nearest to the sea. But ..... having moaned about it ........

Oh how lovely. I'm sure the locals will have seen and heard it all before. Our last 2 places in France were in tourist towns. We were always glad when tourist season was over but mainly because of the queues in stores. LOL

I wish we would do the same next time Trump wants to visit with his massive entourage. The Queen did her bit last time by "not having the room" for him at Buckingham Palace. Canny lady palmed him off to the US Ambassador's place. :D
