This camera has to be up atleast 20 feet. Presently, there is a 16-18 foot fishing boat here and it looks like a toy sitting in the water.

I've never heard of that. I once had a passion flower growing on the outside kitchen wall. It was very pretty but I think we were too noisy for birds to consider nesting. :D

I have a vine that started growing over my kitches window...actually it found it's way inside too, but I'm hoping a pair of hummingbirds will nest in it!!!!

What a shame about your back yard. I love being able to watch the birds .... especially at the moment as they are gathering stuff for their nests. I suppose I was lucky ...... hubby used to go off for hours on his bicycle...... every day at 2pm .... just as the sun was shockingly...
